I have recently returned from my second trip to India with Chai Rose Travels. I wanted to visit some places I hadn’t visited on my last trip and I left this to Chai Rose to organise. The variety and contrast of the places I visited was spectacular – we went from Delhi to Shimla and then Rishikesh and what an amazing trip it was! Everything was organised and curated beautifully. I didn’t have to think about a thing apart from enjoying the culture and sights. The guides we had were incredible and very knowledgeable, tuning in to the needs of our group and adapting schedules when necessary. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made the tours so enjoyable. Chai Rose offered us a smorgasbord of activities that I feel many other tourists might not have seen. In some places, such as the Delhi Flower Market, we were the only tourists there and that made it really special. We experienced perfume making and a cooking course and tea tasting in Delhi, a sunrise walk in the Himalayas and a day with a Royal Family in Shimla, including a nature walk and a home-cooked meal with the family. The highlight of this trip for me was watching the Aarti (a Hindu ritual of worship) on the banks of the River Ganges. It was a profoundly moving and life-affirming spectacle and one which I would not have known about had it not been recommended by Chai Rose. If you want to do some things that are slightly different, unique and sometimes off the usual tourist trail, let Chai Rose plan your trip. They take care of all of your transport needs, guides, sight seeing and hotels and someone is always on hand to help and advise.  Huge thanks to Ailsa, Tracey and Vikash for making this a trip of a lifetime. I’m already planning my next jaunt to India!

Thank you so much to Team Chai Rose Travel for organising an incredible, life enhancing trip to beautiful India.  The curated itinerary was seamless from start to finish, outstanding and consistent 5 Star hotels throughout our adventure through The Golden Triangle.

Ailsa was on hand daily to answer any questions, which was very reassuring.  Our right hand man Vikash and wonderful private driver Hamond were a joy to travel with, which made us feel very safe.

I highly recommend Chai Rose Travel to anyone with a hunger to travel India.

I had the most wonderful experience with Chai Rose Travels during my trip to India this year. Vikash, my guide in Jaipur, went above and beyond to make my visit truly memorable. He took care of everything – from buying tickets to showing me the city’s highlights – and even arranged for unique experiences like watching a Bollywood movie and tasting delicious local street food.

On top of that, Vikash gave me invaluable advice and contacts for my onward travel through Rajasthan, which made the rest of my journey so much easier and more enjoyable.

I also had the chance to be guided by one of the company’s female guides, and together they made a fantastic team. Both were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and such great company throughout my time in Jaipur.

Thanks to them, I learnt and experienced so much more than I ever could have on my own. I left with a deeper appreciation of the city, its history, and its vibrant culture.

I had the very best time with Chai Rose Travels on my trip to India visiting The Golden Triangle. The organisation was seamless, from the minute I booked I knew I was in safe hands. It was my first trip there and Ailsa and Tracey’s excellent communication reassured me before leaving, they made everything easy and ensured I would get the most out of my holiday. The trip itself was magical, everything I imagined and more and Vikash was the best guide we could have had. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was handled by him calmly, with a good sense of humour! Chai Rose Travel. My first  trip to India – A journey and an experience of a lifetime.

I have recently returned from my first trip to India. It was one of the most heart warming, humbling, captivating and beautiful experiences of my life. India has a vibrant culture , a rich history and warm hospitality. I was initially very nervous about travelling to India on my own with regard to safety and traveling as a single woman, and I was also feeling overwhelmed with the question of where to begin with the planning of my trip.

Ailsa and Tracey from Chai Rose Travel planned a personal tailor made itinerary for me around my interests, expectations and budget. I wanted to see some of the main sights in the area but I also wanted to experience raw rural India and local life off the beaten track. Chai Rose Travel certainly delivered and an incredible personal itinerary was drawn up for me.

We explored the Golden Triangle which  included Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur. My visit to the Taj Mahal was breathtaking and the bustling streets of Old Delhi, the majestic forts of Rajasthan and the enchanting Pink City, Jaipur were exhilarating.

I would like to say a  huge thank you to my amazing tour guide, Vikash Dubey, whose knowledge and love of his country was so tangible. He also took the stress out of all arrangements and everything ran seamlessly. Vikash was welcoming , patient and easy to build a good rapport with. He paid great attention to detail. He speaks Hindi and communicates in English very well.

My driver, Suresh Gurjar, was a very professional and accomplished driver , not only navigating India’s busy roads with ease, but always making sure we were comfortable and safe. He was punctual, courteous and was my driver for the whole trip.

Vikash and Suresh from Chai Rose Travel are a professional team and I received royal treatment my entire trip. They took care of all the logistics and travel arrangements and I didn’t have a moment’s concern.

Ailsa and Tracey organized lovely hotels  as well as a high tea at the famous Jaipur’s Rambagh Palace, dinner in Agra’s Oberoi and drinks at Jaipur’s Taj Amer Hotel. I also ate at beautiful restaurants but drank masala chai tea from little roadside stalls and tasted local delicacies off the beaten track.

This trip exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to return to explore further. I can highly recommend Chai Rose Travel if you are looking for a personal, enriching, eye opening and magical adventure, all in very safe hands.

We had such an unforgettable experience in India last October when we visited the Golden Triangle in Rajasthan. Chai Rose Travels put together an amazing itinerary based on my bucket list / wish list and we couldn’t have been more delighted.

Our guide Vikash was always on hand to take us to the most interesting places, often bypassing mass crowds to ensure maximum enjoyment. He really knows the best places to go and seemed to have great contacts to ensure we really had the most unforgettable experience in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodphur.
